last_havenSo, I’m writing some three sentence stories on dreamwidth’s Three Sentence Ficathon and thought I’d share.
First prompt was “Greek Mythology, Hades/Persephone, and everything i ever did/was just another way to scream your name” and the second was “Any fandom, any character, all over again” which I did Undertale, Flowey and The Player as the characters. Fudged the three sentence limit to five on that one. The third prompt was “Any fandom, any character, searching for a trail to follow again (lyrics from Lord Huron’s “The Night We Met”)” so I went with The Ancient Magus Bride, Elias/Chise.
When she cried, he placed a crown on her head and kissed her toes. When she turned away, he grew a garden out of dead earth to soothe her woes.
But when she was called to leave, he watched her give into her hunger at last and kept silent because when you give so much and receive so little, you'll take what you can get.
You smile and raise the knife again.
Of course, you want to say, we've done this before and we'll do it again. Because the game never ends until you say so, and really, Asriel should know you better than to think otherwise.
He will walk this earth if need be, will rampage through the Fae hills, and tear down every wall, brick by brick, if he must until she comes back.
Because she must come back; if she doesn't, then he will truly be lost.

"We've done this before," the flower interrupts himself, something like horror in his soulless eyes. "I--we have--we've done this before!"
