last_havenAnother collection post from 3 Sentence Ficathon--I think I have one more post left, and then I'll be caught up. I really should have started collecting these things now.
First off, the prompt was "It (Movies), Ben/Beverly, and she will be loved". Secondly, we have "It (Movies), Richie/Eddie, role reversal". Third off, the prompt was "Any fandom, any characters, accidentally falling asleep on each other" so I chose Undertale, specifically Underfell, with Flowey+Frisk. Next up, we have "Any, any, eating food in the shower" and I chose Undertale and Underfell, but this was actually stealth reference to another story of mine, Making a Kinder World, and the pairing is Frisk/Sans. And lastly, we have Any, Any, "Don't Forget Who You Are" which I of course used Undertale and picked Papyrus+Sans+Gaster.
Whenever he finds a new scar on her, he can tell in an instant which were accidents and which were marks to try and claim her. But Beverly isn't meant to be caught--you either run with her or fail at running after her.
Ben, however, is very good at running and they'll hold hands as they run, stride for stride.
Eddie finds the letters on the bridge by accident, his fingers tracing over the worn carving by chance as his hand absently trailed across the grain of the wood. He can't know for sure if this was really a message left for him, but as he kneels down, he thinks of what Richie whispered, down in the dark as he bled out, and digs out a knife.
"Me too, Rich," he whispers, finally getting to say the words as he carves the letters deeper, so they'll remain until the wood at last rots away.
"Seriously? You got an entire kingdom out for your soul and you pick now as a good time to take a--hey, would you look--Frisk, I'm only a flower, I can't lift you!" Flowey's spluttered shouts trail off as they see just how tired the human looks; instead, he sighs and turns away, even if Frisk is crushing his stem a little more each second.
"You know, I was wondering where the box of ice cream had run off to."
Sans looks up at the human through the stream of falling water, shoves another spoonful into his mouth, and tries not to give away the game as he says "my life is waking nightmare."
Frisk rolls their eyes at his dramatics, plants a kiss on his temple, and then turns on their heel, leaving him to chuckle as they say over their shoulder "your life is not a nightmare--but if you make us late for our meeting with the city zoning committee, then I will make it one for you."
There is a picture of him, his brother, and another person hidden in his brother's laboratory--Papyrus knows because he was the one to find it and give it to Sans for safe keeping. On the back, Sans had written "don't forget" and Papyrus wishes he knew why.
Some lonely days, he sneaks down here and gets the picture out, staring and staring because no matter how long he looks, he just can't seem to make out the other person's face and somehow he just knows it's important.
Don't forget--but it's already too late for that and it only makes his ribs hurt when he tries to think of how he knows that too.
